Destuck is operated as an individual entrepreneurship. We are committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how it is used.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Destuck, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have regarding your data.

Data We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our diagnostic service. This includes:
Survey responses: Answers submitted through our diagnostic questionnaire. These form the basis of your Report.
Contact information: Email address provided at the time of purchase or report delivery.
Payment data: Billing information processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs collected automatically when you visit destuck.com.
Team metadata: Organisation name or team identifier, if provided voluntarily.
Note on survey responses: We recommend that teams avoid entering sensitive personally identifiable information (e.g. names of specific individuals) in any free-text fields, as these responses are processed by AI systems.

How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely for the following purposes:
Generating your diagnostic Report based on submitted responses.
Delivering your Report and communicating about your order.
Processing payment for the service.
Improving the Destuck diagnostic framework and service quality (using anonymised, aggregated data only).
Complying with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following lawful bases:
Contractual necessity: Processing your survey responses, generating your Report, delivering the Report, and transmitting data to our AI sub-processor are all necessary to perform the service you have purchased.
Legitimate interest: Collecting technical data and usage logs to maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve service quality. We balance these interests against your rights and freedoms.
Legal obligation: Retaining payment and financial records as required by applicable tax and accounting regulations.

Third-Party Services
Destuck uses a combination of custom-built survey pages and third-party infrastructure. Your data may be processed by the following services as part of delivering the Destuck experience:
Survey InterfaceThe diagnostic questionnaire is delivered primarily via custom-built pages hosted on our platform. In some cases, Tally may be used as an alternative survey interface.
Make.comWorkflow automation. Connects survey responses to report generation and delivery pipelines.
Anthropic (Claude API)AI processing. Survey response data is passed to Anthropic's API to generate diagnostic insights.
SupabaseDatabase infrastructure. Stores processed results and report data securely.
VercelWeb hosting and deployment for the Destuck platform and survey pages.
PaddleMerchant of record and payment processing. Paddle handles billing, tax compliance, and payment transactions on our behalf.
We have entered into data processing agreements with our sub-processors where required. Each provider operates under their own privacy policies and maintains appropriate data security standards.

AI Processing
Your survey responses are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate your diagnostic Report. This means your anonymised response data is transmitted to Anthropic's systems. This processing is necessary to perform the service you have purchased.
We pass only the information necessary for report generation. We do not instruct Anthropic to retain or train on your data beyond the scope permitted by Anthropic's API usage policies. For more information, please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations:
Survey responses: Retained for up to 12 months after report generation, then deleted or anonymised.
Email and contact data: Retained for up to 24 months or until you request deletion.
Payment records: Retained as required by applicable financial and tax regulations (typically 5–7 years).
Technical logs: Retained for up to 90 days.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at contact@destuck.com.

Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data. These may include the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
Request a portable copy of your data.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

GDPR & EU Users: If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

International Transfers
Destuck uses third-party services based primarily in the United States and European Union. Your data may therefore be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards, consistent with applicable data protection laws.

Children's Privacy
Destuck is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.
